This post doesn't necessarily fit in this category but I'll post elsewhere (intentional communities, ecovillages) as well.
I would sell the rights though if that's what you were really looking for. But selling this land to a foreigner may be difficult.
9500ft elevation (Nepal has latitude of Florida) so strong warm sun even in winter.
There was several feet of accumulating snowfall in years past, though much less the past three years.
Anyone can live there, currently underutilized. A lot of untouched loamy soil. Spring water year round. Cold for a good portion of the year, about half, and need a good greenhouse if you want a varied diet.
Entire property is fenced in.
Two local boys live there now to watch over the place and are instructed to treat it as their own home, and would stay to help with whoever lived here.
A lot of cedarwood in storage that could be used for a greenhouse or other structures.
There are 4 structures, two of them joined. The two that are joined were built as animal stables and now house the cedarwood. All 3 stone buildings are 2 floors. The house that is occupied as living quarters has a fire stove and is open floorplan with a storage room and pine floor and walls.
There is a underground storage cellar that is very effective but due to poor planning ended up being slightly outside the fence line. Still usable.
We started to build a big greenhouse and a big main stone house and never finished.
There are chickens, some ducks, rabbits, and fish there. Wheat, buckwheat, potatoes, corn, beans, are the major crops right now. Space to raise goats, sheep, etc in future.
A few apple and walnut trees. (The area is known for them)
Marijuana plants (the seeds are used in food).
There are lots of foods to forage in the forest in the warmer months, like wild ferns, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and some other greens.
About 1/5 of the property is on an upper slightly more flat part and in the forest, and the rest is a lower area of sloped land about 20% grade. We made steppes on part of the lower land.
The forests outside the fence are big and can also allow animals to graze. Local villagers also herd their animals to the nearby grassy hilltops during the rainy season (there is a two months rainy season in summer) and there is a very large valley less than a km below the land where animals are also herded.
Below the property is a village of about 50 houses and below that is the valley.
You will find few or no lands on this website with fresher air or water. Though it comes with its consequences such as cold nights and shorter growing season than some others.
It takes about 20 hours by car from Kathmandu to reach there. Can go by plane also from Kathmandu to the bazaar, which is about 1.5 hours by car/motorcycle to the land, or 5 hours walking.
