Biography
I'm a single woman that is tired of having a career and wants to go back to the farming way of life. Except I want to improve upon what future generations have done in my family. I want the simple life of healing land and I believe it will heal me in the process.

Hello,

I'm a dreamer. I dream of a simpler time when we didn't have to resort to technology to make connections with people. To a time when all it took was a little grit and an idea to make a wonderful life for yourself.

I'm a farmer's daughter that was born and raised on the family farm in a small town in Michigan. We did a little bit of everything and were as responsible as we knew how to be with the land. However, I was encouraged to dream of a life off the farm. So I ended up making a career out of selling plumbing and bathroom fixtures.

I'm a Michigan transplant in Wisconsin that is tired of the career and the apartment life. I want to take what I know and what I learn everyday and apply it to my dream property. Several hundred acres of forgotten land. I want to have as close as possible to an authentic homesteading experience, but with the modern twist.

I would like to build a homestead with a partner to help develop our piece of the wilderness into a sustainable enterprise that will feed our family and community for generations to come. To plant trees where there are none, to keep water when there is no rain and to turn the soil black with richness...this is part of my dream.

I'm a Christian, a stout woman that was built for working, and I get up each day to fight. If any of this sounds intriguing you should message me. Worst thing that happens is that we bounce ideas off one another.

Take care!

Heather
