Hello Roberto

thank you very much for your answer and the link! I looked at Google images, but a second opinion is always better! Brilliant news, can't wait to start learning and making tinctures with them!

all the best Isabel

Hello

I have just learned about Lichens and have been diving deep into the topic and reserach. On our land on the Portuguese atlantic coast we have about 60 olive trees covered in Lichens. Plus about 8 fruit trees. The pine and eucalyptus trees don't  seem, to have them. It's the end of high Summer and very dry during the day. The nights are cold and can get humid. The lichens are very dry, and easy to pull of the branches without getting broken.

I think that they are Usnea Lichens. They seem elastic when pulled apart and the disc like tops are also leading into the direction of Usnea. But I am not 100% sure, since I am new to this, and I would like to ask for anybodies help who feels like sharing their expertise.

Many thanks Isabel
