Great list. Read several and working through some more. I'm looking for a book(s) specifically about raising animals/livestock from a permaculture perspective. There's lots of high-level info included in some permaculture books I've read (e.g., chickens eat scraps and help spread manure, etc.), but I haven't found a book that talks about the nuts and bolts of HOW to care for the animals in a permaculture manner (e.g., providing shelter, forage, over-wintering, breeding, diseases/remedies, etc.). Any recommendations?

I get mine from the Breadbecker's Co-op. While the co-op only does deliveries 3 times a year, the prices are good and there are a fair number of options ranging from grains to beans to equipment.

Was just listening to this podcast (which was great!), and Paul talked about a fellow with a blog (Rand Pryor maybe?) whose emphasis was on hand tools being of high value in any scenario where society began to crumble. Does anyone have his name/website for his blog? Always interested in other perspectives/resources.
