Hi all!
I'm finally at a place where I can switch from ornamental gardening for rich people to farming! I just built a bed here in Kentucky and I'm trying this experiment:

It's fully funded so I'm not looking for more donations, just wanted to show my first ever permaculture experiment!
I have oen question: here in what was once temperate but soon will be subtropical eastern Kentucky, if I seed this bed now and cover it with thick layers of hay/straw, will the seeds grow in spring. Even though the experiment is free, I don't want to lose all my seeds. If it's bad, I'll let the bed develop and seed in the spring?
