I have two sections of my property with electric fence. I have a continuous charger to keep in my dogs. The pulsating chargers will not work with my dogs. The "only 1 sec" between pulse is plenty for my dog to slide under the wire.
I have another electric fence run around the outside of our barn. The pigs like to take away the dirt from the outside of the barn. The rest of the pig pen is fenced with cattle panels.
