This is my first post here....... I have an idea that i want to act on, I found this site while searching for info on thermal mass and how much does what. Long story short, is there a calculator for figuring or a common sense type of answer? Let's say you build a greenhouse ontop of an inground swimming pool. The water is 8 feet deep, maybe 25,000 gallons of water. That's allot of thermal mass. I would like to be able to draw up a table of some sort to tell, "it's 25 degrees f outside and my water is 50 degrees f, the sun is shining" what do you got? what's some numbers? obviously it will be more complicated than that!
No, I don't have a swimming pool for this.
