First year I got a crop on this tree. I let it go with small apples. It did bend the branches down but it was it's first year. Suddenly I noticed they were ripening in the 90 degree heat. The early green-yellow apples are sweet with a tender skin. I like them. I picked the ripest fruit leaving all but the last of the unripened fruit. Some of the branches are bowed but the tree seems ok and no broken branches so far.
