Thanks,

I know somewhere where there is really clayey soil,i could dig up,and dry it, and i could use that.

Could i just dry some store bought clay? and then chrush it to powder.

But if cement works, then theres no problem.

The only concerns one might have, is if it hardens to hard cement clumps, but we will see what happens.

I will try to put a seedball in a plant pot to see if it will germinate. And i will make an update to this post later on, in 2 weeks.

I read one straw revolution by masanobu fukuoka multiple times, and now that its spring i really wanted to make seedballs to throw everywhere on abbandoned fields, the wild and in my garden.

However i never seen powdered clay being sold, so i thought about it, and i remembered that i had some cement, i immediately got out to test it. I grabbed a bucket putted some wheat seeds in it, a little water and some cement, and i turned the bucket around like a cement mixer, adding little bit water and cement to make the balls, you have to be careful not to add to much water.

Cement is made out of 3/4 calcium, and 1/4 clay.

i created the seedballs, and i threw some out to see if the birds will eat them, and the seem to ignore the seedballs, so thats good.
Maybe adding some native soil, or compost would be a good idea?
