There are several "mistakes" in the replies posted above but instead of "correcting" them I'll try to reply directly to your question.

The best way by far is to create a fungal dominated compost and the use that in conjunction with the "native AM production of inoculum" (https://rodaleinstitute.org/science/articles/how-to-innoculate-arbuscular-mycorrhizal-fungi-on-the-farm-part-1/) . Then you spread the end product in your farm or you add it in the holes you dig to plant your plants.

Join us 15th-21st April 2024, for a week-long DIY mushroom cultivation workshop at FreeField in Crete, led by mushroom enthusiasts, growers and facilitators Nikolaos Gryspolakis, Haritini Paidi  and Emily Antoniadi.
