I have mostly been a background reader on the site, not engaging much in the discourse of daily permaculture posts, an admiration from a distance if you will, but the idea of embroidering with plant fibres really interested me, as did the prospect of growing my own clothing, and I wanted to ask the question of how to properly dry flax and if I would be able to get it thin enough ( without breakage ) to thread it through a needle and embroider with it?
