So I fell in love with permaculture principles somewhere around 8 years ago. Of course, I did basically nothing about it. The seed was planted though. A couple years back I decided to start a small garden. I've messed something up every single year I've been growing, but I always manage to get better and better. Now my garden is something I'm reasonably proud of even though I know there is so much more to be done.
I am a renter and my wife and I are well over 100K in the hole with student loans. It really annoys me that I probably won't be buying a house/land any time in the near future. The bright side is - I rent my family home so I can do almost anything I want with the yard, so it's become my laboratory. All sorts of experiments going on back here. Here is a rough pic of it all -
Very recently I have signed on with a local gardening company. It's a mesh between gardening and landscaping and every day is different. I get to work outside and I'm learning a ton!
So I'm here with a small yard and big ambition. I'm going to post what little I know and I hope to learn from everyone here.
