We are a couple of wanderers whom search of life has culminate at the end of the road on little earth farm at the edge of Nantahala Forest in Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina, over hour driving time west of Asheville. That’s a lot of info in one sentence 🧐 First off we wish to emphasize this is not your ordinary rental, rather an opportunity for those in search of small developing self reliant community, one willing to share financial responsibility of self preservation accompanied with the privacy of your own tiny house space. There is expense involved in term (burden of existence) in form of modest monthly contribution of $300 per person child would be less (of which $200 of contribution helps pay for individual food) plus one time $50 non refundable cleaning deposit, an ideal situation for fixed income or modest income individual. Additionally an expected 12 hours week labor contribution (keep in mind) helping with food prep foraging for dinner or washing dishes that sort of activity does not reduce expected hour contribution those times are considered living. Basically you’re receiving room and board for $100 month plus modest labor contribution. Hope that spells it out plain. We wish to absorb as well as share combined knowledge with responsible couple, single parent or just plain single whom wish to live on a developing permaculture farm with emphasis on living comfortably on earth as conscious partner (so to speak). Heads up internet entrepreneurs,... the internet service up here is minimal and will not support high band width streaming yet adequate for everyday communication. What we seek,.... is minded earth conscious people whom thrive in somewhat primitive (yet mostly modern amenities) lifestyle, a needs fulfilled coexistence of conscious consumption. Non-nocturnal sun dweller with constructive thought and body presence, this is a tobacco vape free space for non chemical addicted beings content with natural (not nudist) lifestyle, doesn’t mean we don’t shave. We do enjoy a brew now and then, occasionally eat pescatarian food choice, listen to music and make some once in awhile, play cards and (at least I believe) on occasion entertaining conversation. On health note;...All foods grown and consumed on farm are organic vegetarian mindset produced without the use of man made chemicals or fertilizer.
We offer to good fit not only a cozy tiny house housing but substantial portion of shared sustenance, (most times two or more healthy meals a day (as presence gratitude). You should be one with adequate financial means to manage personal need without the necessity to work off campus, you are responsible for non polluting personal items; shampoo, beverages, treats, paper products that sort of thing and fend for yourselves on occasion. For your use is clean outside composting toilet, awesome tasting spring water and summer solar shower. In colder months an inside bath and laundry are at your dispose. Will consider family pets but honestly would rather not have any, we are open minded about this. Would be plus if you possess familiarity with plant base vegan/vegetarian food choice, growth and preparation but not absolutely necessary. Deb willing to teach the culinary art of home grown food prep if interested and I possess teachable solar and building skills.We are not so ‘much religious as spiritual beings (pantheist) with focused presence. Holistic practice, artistic and musical expression encouraged and enjoyed. Also on property is very nice camping site for small camper, tent or tee pee (would be cool) for those who do or may not wish to participate in labor exchange rather explore on the cheap this beautiful area with option to join in if desired.
