I hand sharpen at my workbench with a rodent tail document. That said I keep a few sharp chains close by in light of the fact that when I am cutting and dull a chain I basically supplant the chain on the spot with a sharp one and return to work. In the event that I ever get to working with a cutting apparatus more than once in a while I will set up a honing station with a processor like my uncle had years prior when he honed a wide range of things from blades and scissors to saws (counting enormous ones for ranger service shaper heads) for additional cash.

My favorite tools are the Hands saw and chop saw.

Ugh! You have my sympathy. I discovered last year that there is black plastic in my back yard a few inches underground where there is supposed to be lawn. No wonder the grass doesn't grow.

Just keep digging out the largest pieces you can. Little pieces probably won't impede your plants too much. Too bad you can't make whoever planted it come take it out.

Toss the Husky back in Lowe's lap. They sold it to you. With a warranty. Their problem. I have two of that saw's predecessors, the 142 that I run the crap out of with no problems. I figured they would blow up in a few months. Still getting it done five years later.

But I run 32:1 in everything and always will.
