Ok.  I live on 1/3 acre and I can't get my sprinkler system to operate.  I changed the auto systems (the people who did construction prior to us buying the house were gracious enough to cut the power cord right off of the old ones) and when I operate the system, you can hear the valves/pumps whatever they are trying to run but there is no water coming out.  I have tried turning the shut off knob by the sprinklers either way and nothing is happening.  Long story short, most of the heads are broken and I would like to change it to a drip system anyway instead of the lawn sprinklers that are on there now.
Where the heck do I start?  Any idea of a good book that I can buy that can walk me through it a little bit?  A website or youtube channel?
I have fixed sprinkler heads and sprinkler lines before so I do have some basic knowledge but I am struggling to find info on what to do for replacing the whole system.

As a left-handed person living in a right-handed world, I can tell you that you are absolutely right.  Know why?  Because I am using my mouse with my right hand right now.  If I tried to use it with my left I would probably be the same way you were when you started using your left hand.  It is definitely a brain exercise.  Try bowling left-handed (but make sure you have a clear lane on either side!)  Larger movements are usually much easier to master.  Case in point: my handwriting with my right hand on paper is not great but my handwriting on a white board where the scale is larger is almost identical no matter the hand.

We have a hive that has been living in our cinder block wall for at least the last nine months (it was here when we moved in, probably had been for a while before that.)  I decided that I wanted to add beekeeping to the list of homesteading projects I have.  I don't want to try to move them until spring, that way they can use up whatever they have built into the wall.  When I do try to extract them into my own hive, what do I do?  Is a trap out the best method?  Any ideas on books or websites on the subject would be greatly appreciated.  I am hoping to enlist the help of a local beekeeper but until then I wanted to study up on the subject.  I would like to destroy as little of the wall as possible.  Thanks!
