We found this tree with these pods like that of the 'kentucky coffee tree' but these pods have a round bottom, unlike the Kentucky that is like a spine. This tree was found in Ghana, West Africa.

What tree could this be?

So as part of our assignment, to collect different kinds of seeds from different species of tree, we came across this tree. The pods are green when fresh and brownish black when dried. They are like tubes, about 30cm long. Within these pods are disk-like membranes that cover each seed.
