I don't know if I am posting to the right thread... but I have a butcher block that I want some information on. I don't know how to look it up. I see pictures that are similar to exact of what I have but I still cannot find actual information relating to its age or brand. It is a 30 by 30 by 16.. about 400 lbs and has a number stamped on the bottom of 1055. One site I found stated this could be a date code October of 1955... but the family history puts this block much older then that... my guess is in the 30s... Can someone help me? It looks just like this one I found online (see attachment). I am not home so I cannot take a picture of it myself.
