Hey y'all,

Just looking to see if there's anyone in the younger age bracket around nineteen (as I myself am this age) looking for prospects on the horizon in Vermont. I know this is a small state, and I don't expect there to be many
disillusioned individuals up here my age, but you never know. I'm a builder and artist, and I did a LOT of organic/biodynamic farm interning over the past few years, and I'm looking to see if anyone would like to meet up, hang out at a coffee house, just to shoot the proverbial shite. There seem to be plenty of guys on the forum to choose from, so I deign not make myself out to be anything special. However, there have  gotta be guys and gals  looking to hang and do stuff? Anyway, I exist, so hopefully you exist....

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I think we found what we were looking for, thanks to the forum! A nice couple interested in permaculture will be heading our way soon!

We like people with experience that are humble about it, but we prefer amateurs. We are looking for helpers for the coming spring, and we are always accepting requests.
We like to integrate volunteers into our community, and if they are a good fit, we can have them on for as long as works for them.
Putting in the effort is how things get done, and if you are new to the construction, permaculture or craft-building realms, we would love to help you into it.

Island of Misfit Souls



Spring is coming and we could use some help bringing an ancient historic farmstead back to life.
“We” consists of an amalgamation of families and individuals; the main creative genius Jeff and his crew, and a hopelessly dislexiconic nineteen year old, myself.
We’re in the Green Mountains sandwiched between Pittsford and Brandon Vermont. Our huge stone house and gigantic barn are looking for company.
The first year here was spent getting old structures back on line for living, refinishing the interior of the stone house and setting up some dank patios.  
This coming year is about establishing the semblance of a food base for a colony of crafters and artists, designer and builders.
Looking for help with gardens, orchards, sheep, barns, building, making films and music and being a part of a community that’s for all, not individuals.



Trade a couple days a week of labor for shelter, meals and social life.
