I use food grade DE for upset stomach - one tsp. in glass of water - and it works well immediately. I also use it when a cold sore is itching and spreading - I put some coconut oil on the sore and dab DE on top, and that also works immediately to stop itching and kill the virus. Sometimes i add it to toothpaste to make it more effective and leave teeth feeling super smooth.
