My problem is that I have made pets of my four guineas, and they are continuously roosting on the patio, deck, etc. of our house. I got them last fall and have tried to consistently put them in their coop away from the house (where they are fed), but they immediately come to the house and this is where I find them in late afternoon. This situation will be untenable in the spring when I put out my outdoor furniture and we actually try to spend time out on the patio and deck. I am hoping that hormones will kick in in the spring (I think we have two boys and two girls), and they will keep themselves busy and not want to hang out with us all the time. Any suggestions or have I screwed up these four too badly?
