I’m a lurker but I found your message interesting, as we seem to be at similar places in life. I’ve had a nomadic existence, but I’m looking to settle down and build a sustainable, more permanent life. I’m a few years younger than you, a freelance writer, no kids, never married, and at a stable place where I’m ready to take the next step forward.
I’m a big sci-fi geek, too, a fan of both print and screen. I suppose you could call me a geek in other ways. I studied rhetoric and linguistics at university so I love all things grammar, language, and books. But I enjoy hiking and being out in nature, as well. I love to cook, sew, knit, garden, and do all that crafty jazz. Currently, I’m trying to learn more about sustainable living, homesteading, and permaculture.
