I am working on a Mediterranean+ food forest in Sacramento, California and I keep seeing recommendations for saltbush (atriplex halimus) as a good guild understory/windbreak/edible shrub. I really want to add it to my Mediterranean guild but I cannot find it ANYWHERE in the US. Does anyone have seeds or a plant that they would sell me? Or know where I could find them? It seems like a really awesome plant and I want to try growing it.
