Hi y’all,
So I’ve got this tiny house. Made by tiny Idahomes and set up like an RV. Can’t connect it to septic. A compost toilet has been installed, but now I’m trying to deal with greywater. I’ve read things on forums here, looked at info from Art Ludwig, scoured YouTube…and I’m fairly certain my head is about to explode. I’ve got to diy this thing mostly on my own. Previous greywater forum posters mentioned a pipe feeding to an infiltration basin below the frost line and that seemed like something I could handle. I’m in Montana, so…
Questions:
Art Ludwig diagram shows a bucket used as outlet chamber surrounded by mulch. That’s not gonna be big enough or deep enough? And connection pipe to greywater outlet on the house, do I wrap that with insulation? For the basin, some YouTubers using plastic drum cut in half lengthwise and buried? I’m just trying to keep this as cheap and simple as possible before the winter comes. Skirting the house still needs to be done as well, so there’s much to do.
Thanks for any assistance.
