Patrick, I just watched a you tube video on the “boiling water”. It actually said to get A bunch of slugs and specifically to gather one or more that have a swollen mantle, which is a sign of nematode infestation... put in a bucket On top of some cabbage with couple inches of water and seal lid. They eat cabbage and hopefully really let the infection spread among all of them, then fall in water and die, letting the nematodes infect the water which you then pour in areas affected by slugs.. (straining it) these are good nematodes that devastate slugs but don’t harm us or are even noticed...
