I just bought two pairs of these from Woot. Out of stock there, but Amazon still has them. I wore them once to try, and found them very warm, thick enough, and elastic. I'm saving them for major outdoor adventures.

I love to see all do-it-yourself creations without store bought trappings! I have a new acre that I've sadly not been able to get ready for a garden, yet. I'll be looking for ways to do some late planting.
