Hello all,
We just bought 14 acres NE of Regina.
We are lucky to have lots of mature trees but at going to plant a three row eco buffer around the perimeter of our land. We have already planted haskap, apples, pears, plums, raspberries, and strawberries this past year and built a chicken coop for 6 chickens in the spring. Fresh out of a permaculture course I am looking to start and interested in anything that has worked for people in zone 3. Particularly trees. It sounds like hazelnut is the way to go for nut trees, has anyone had success with other nut trees? Anyone planting trees for coppicing and have had success with a specific tree?
Thanks,
Vageli
