Hi guys!
Im building my first Loadbearing strawbale house, but im worried that there isnt enough bales in the walls to carry the roof.
i´ve been reading Barbara Jones book Building with Straw Bales.
Here is some of the principles that i have been following
"Do not have any places in the wall (eg beside a window that are lesse than a half bale in length"
"Spaces between openings should be no ess than one bale length"
"Window and door openings must be at least one bale length away from corners in loadbearing design"
According to my drawings, Am i understanding this right?
I would be very happy if someone answered this question, but i would also appreciate a simple "looks good"
Also im uploading our rural zone permit, where more drawings is included.
Its a part of a bigger project in Denmark, and it is called Skovvirke. We are a small group of people who is going to grow a Forest garden and live there
