I just read your post and I realize it was posted a year ago but I need to ask.
I grew up on the Oregon coast around Coos County area. My Dad's family lived all up and down the coast at one time or another. You mention a Mr. King that built your parents barn. My Dad's side of the family are King's (and my last name). Just wondering if it is possibly any relation? Do you happen to know his first name?
