I dont know why people are saying coolbots arent efficient. I have a walkin and have had it for 4 years now. It is 7x14 with a 14k lg window air conditioner. It has no defrost heater, not clock timer and any other "extra" parts a walk in would have. It never freezes up. My walk in hovers at 2 celcius. When the compressor dies, I will buy a new one. As for efficient...no walkin I looked at was rated for as little power usage as my airconditioner so when you say efficient you must mean something else other than how much electricity it takes to keep it cold. The LG uses less electricity to cool my fridge over any walk in I sourced out. Add me building the box myself I was up and running for under 2k and spending less monthly on hydro.
