Dear Barb, your description of what you are seeking, seems to fit well with mine. I retired at age 48, very financially secure. I am a Veteran, retired union Journeyman Tinsmith, and have a nice log home in the western mountains of Maine. I maintain my home, equipment and vehicles myself, but I do not drive junk heaps. I am also an Artist, and I raise some animals as well. Our home is surrounded by beautiful forest, mountains, and glass clear lakes, rivers and streams.
