Afternoon folks, I ran across your post and thought it was very interesting. I am 45, still very healthy and active. I grew up on family farms in southern Iowa and the Louisville, Ky, area. I have 20+ years in remodeling carpentry and consider myself very self sufficient with an extensive ag back ground that is continually growing through experience and ag extension classes. I've been planning on doing this for the last 10 years but got divorced 6 years ago and am rebuilding my credit and bank account. I am exploring all options that are accompanied by solid contract agreements. I have a few open ended contracts to provide high end restaurant specialty food stuffs that are easily vacuum packed and shipped.
