I love the mountains of North Carolina! I grew up visiting my grandparents every summer near Asheville. It would be nice to get to know you and your plans for a homestead, and possibly the opportunity to return to the Carolinas. I am 33 and small, but mighty! I love to garden, cook, and am very handy at home improvement projects. I do have 2 pre-teen boys who are extremely helpful, but I understand if this is more than what you would like to take on. I have a home in VA on a smaller lot, but I dream of homesteading and building a self sufficient life. Please reply if you would like to know more about me :)
