My mother just got out of the hospital with kidney and a stent in her left kidney. She had the procedure to bust up the stone because it was so big. My mother started taking a tablespoon twice a day of Diatomaceous Earth, she took it for about 5-6 months and went to the doctor and had a kidney function test done and was told that her kidneys were not functioning properly. My mother stop taking the diatomaceous earth. My mother has never had kidney stones before and she is almost 67 years old.
