Hello Carmelo! What an entertaining, and oddly familiar’vision’ to have described on a Saturday morning over coffee 😂
Change pig, to horse (sadly not mine) followed by chasing sheep bouncing about faster than anticipated making a wanton break to freedom (when you have a very enthusiastic stock guardian dog / heath and safety officer (not approving of the whole explosion of activity), throw in pheasants frightening said mischief horse, me wellies and tshirt and undies attempting to outrun to next gate type marathon, a group of innocent elderly walkers trapped in the middle of the field, me wizzing past like some kind of wild woman (appearing out of no where), seeming to win the race to the gate, barely breathing as its a good few acres, whilst dog actually has sorted the situation already, and now has horse, sheep, walkers, and pheasants all in a neat circle, is lying down looking at me with a mix of embarrassment on my behalf and a little sympathy, waiting for me to walk back up and pretend to take credit. Done, with as much grace as possible, and trousers are now kept beside the wellies for next time 😂

Im a 40yr old, Scottish lass, based, and from, a beautiful island in Scotland, hoping to find a fellow soul daft enough to choose the self build, permaculture path i have chosen and to accentuate the happiness and beauty i have found and nurtured in my life.
I am a country girl and have a love of wild spaces, salt and sea in my heart.
I am an ex-navigation officer from the merchant navy, sailed and travelled around the world and loved seeing the world and it's people.  I now work in cultural protection and logistics (conservation in the montains) and have set up a sustainable hutting / crofting / community project (laniched yesterday to facilitate a community build pf a village in forestry land, and a community farming CIC (5years old now!)  to help others access the countryside and be educated and employed to both protect, farm and rewild it.
I have also been a chocolatier (as a musketeer but better, making chocolate is a dangerous but wonderful talent) and a gig / music photographer (rock) which was some of the most amazing things I could have done back when I studied!

I love my family and animals dearly, (be warned between the clan that we have a good selection of pets!) So being comfortable with pet hair, wet dog / cats and mud is a must. Sorry in advance! (Still very much the case!)

I like a simple life, i cant stress that enough! I dont like drama or hot heads or quarrelsome folk, and spend a lot of my time quietly enjoying the peace and tranquillity of my surroundings, and laughing at the antics of pets or friends!

First stage simple cabin is up and moved in, and second stage, proper build is in the land acquisition stage (also gained and working on my 8 acres currently (sustainable design is something I am passionate about), and it would be wonderful to find a good man to share it with and children to be had or welcomed to enjoy the summer days and frequent winter nights with.

I am very earthy and once i know and respect someone they have my all, heart body and soul, and i am looking for that back. I am very tactile when i love and hope to find someone sharing the quality in a commited / loyal and mutually respectful way.

But to summarize, I am a laid back but hard working and determined lady who is loyal, caring and generous.  I have a nature based (our traditional, island) belief system which i would ask anyone to accept as i would their choices.
