Greetings from the frozen north, I am new to this forum and glad I found it. I am currently looking to move out of Edmonton and onto some land north west of the city with some like-minded folk. I'm looking for land right now that's within an hour of Edmonton and I'm also looking for people who might want to live on that land with me. Ideally we are all mostly doing our own thing, perhaps initially in mobile accommodation such as tiny homes or yurts, whilst also allotting a portion of our time to community projects including growing our own food and possibly canning/storing food for the winter months and some land management.
I am female, an artist and wanting to live closer to nature and in a peaceful environment. If you have some land with potable water to either sell or share, please get in touch with me and similarly if you are also looking for this kind of lifestyle in this part of Alberta.
I would also be interested to move onto someone else's land if it seemed like a good fit. I'm looking at land which is either off-grid or perhaps with few or no restrictions so that I can live in a yurt and others could live in a tiny home etc. I realize that finding people who share a similar vision and with whom you feel you could really get along is not necessarily an easy task, but this is a good start...
