Hi I have built several EZ log structures-The roof and floor can easily be insulated by conventional methods. The insulation kit provided by EZ Log provides a high R value. Your foundation can be pillar slab or block. Before you make any type of a decision you should confirm all of the permit requirements of your township Most units require at least 2 people to build.
