I planted two cranberry plants on a huegel a few days ago. So far they're doing OK. The soil in my garden is not acidic enough to plant them elsewhere. This particular huegel bed is mostly made of pine branches so I hope it will be acidic.
The cranberries are sitting right on top of big pieces of wood that is already falling apart so I hope there will be enough moisture. Additionally I transferred some moss and put it around the plants.
These are just my first experiments.
