With already established trees, you should consider fencing it and adding chickens with a deep bedding of wood chips.  The chickens will break the lifecycle of many peat bugs, while fertilizing your trees and cleaning up fallen fruit.  

Matthew Fallon-  black walnut trees are allopathic and actually inhibit the growth of many plants.  In regards to your kiwi vine sex, you can tell by the flower whether it is male or female.  Just google a pic and you will see they look different.  Kiwis take a very long time to fruit especially if grown from seed, usually 5 years from seed.
