I just bought the newer main 4 downloads for better wood heat but they won’t download to my iPad or my iPhone. Each time I try it just comes up with a black screen, with the play button crossed out in the center. I assume your download is compatible with Apple products or you would’ve mentioned it so any idea what am I doing wrong? We really want to watch these and hoped to have the version available on our phones for when we are building...? But if it won’t work maybe we could do a direct streaming once instead

I know that the videos can be viewed by apple products because a lot of people have done so without a problem.

In doing some research on my end, it seems that you have not yet downloaded any of the files.

My first guess is that your device is full.

I am posting this publicly because I don't have any apple products and I don't know how to even check that there is room on the device.  BUT!   There are a lot of people here that have probably viewed these very videos on an apple device that might be able to help.

I think the next step is for you to share the version info for your devices and how much room is available on each device.

Anne Curtis wrote:Thanks for making the videos downloadable - suits me much better.   Great stuff if you want to make the traditional RMHs.
However, the main reason I bought the videos was to find out exactly how to make the batch box version that is part of the 4th video, since after much research I came to realise that would suit me and my circumstances much better.  So I was very disappointed to find out that there are no specific details about how to make it.
The rest of the info is worth having but would it be possible to provide the details of the batch box heater construction?  Thanks Anne

So yes, I'm also having the same problem Anne mentioned above-- can't download them on my phone, crossed-out play button.  : /
And it's not due to a lack of space.
Hoping a solution to that was discovered?  As it's obviously not an isolated issue.  I don't see anything more written about it here; how did it get solved?

Ah, dang--  yeah, I ·just· purchased the set of 4, and am hoping to learn about the batch box version too-- &/or cottage rocket-- (also looking into cabin 2.0, was it called?) to compare & contrast the two, as I need to figure out which one I'll be building/installing into my tiny house on *wheels*!
I wonder if folks have done extensive comparisons between the 3, w/ pros & cons & such.

I'm also having the same problem someone else mentioned above-- can't download them on my phone, crossed-out play button.  : /
