hi there... I've just Bern reading this thread... I'm also researching using geopolymer as a binder for hempcrete... we have a local source of kaolin clay... in the process of having some fired to 750deg c to make metabolic... have made sodium silicate from silica gel and lye... going to try this and commercial sodium/potassium silicate to produce geopolymer and add hemp hurd for light weight insulation material... and with Fibre for hard strong material... I have been working with MgO/MgCl Sorel binder which is great but reacts with water...
