Has someone had any luck getting tech specs by searching the CSA certification number thru the testing organization?   The CSA certification number is perfectly legible on its stamped label on the back of the stove, and they would certainly have had a copy of the specifications when they tested it and presumably still would in their database.

Thoughts?   I'm going to try that, as I've struck out online and contacting GSW and its successor companies.

We recently bought a used wood stove and the spec plate on the back for clearances is illegible so will have a lot of difficulty getting it installed/insured. It is a GSW Model 820 probably manufactured in the '80's and has convection tubes that will be really great for heating a larger space. I'd hate not to be able to use it. If anyone has one of these stoves and has access to Owner's Manual or at least can photo a legible spec plate, a reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
