Hello everyone, I’m new here. I’m looking to buy some land that has standing water near the middle of the property. It appears to be fairly level when I went to walk around on it. It would first need to be cleared of trees before I start moving any dirt around. I would like a large pond on the property, possibly even a creek as well to rid any excess water off the property into a nearby ditch. The pond would ideally be in the top left(according to the image) of the property, with the creek running along the top and into the ditch located to the right of the property.
Is this a feasible endeavor or am I just going to make a mess with the existing groundwater continuing to accumulate where it is?
