I’ve thought of the same thing as alternatives for hempcrete. Couldn’t one essentially use any kind of weed/grass like material once it’s dried and processed? Will using any organic material other than hemp mixed with the lime make it fire resistant? Or is the hempcrete only fire resistant. My boyfriend and I want to experiment but making raised beds out of different organic matter mixed with lime. Will update you all on how that goes.
