I was waiting for someone to mention that. Carrot seed oil and raspberry seed oil are both extremely expensive. I do use them in my daytime facial oil blend, just to help.
One thing I found that hasn't been discussed here (possibly because it's not oil) was the extreme effectiveness of Gold Bond Medicated Baby Powder. I had a large horse with a lot of white on his face which became severely sun sensitive. He burned terribly, every day. After many, many expensive and time consuming experiments with sunscreens, etc, the combination which proved most effective was to wash his face with baby shampoo every evening, apply healing lotions, and then each morning applying the GBMBP and then a fly mask. I haven't tried that powder on myself, but it's just cornstarch, clay and zinc oxide, so next time I really have to be out in the mid day sun, I may have to give it a try. It truly saved my horse. I think it was just simply reflective, but washing it off after exposure was definitely part of the success formula.
