In need of some help.
My wife and I are planning on moving. We have small piece of land in Florida and we are in the beginning stages of building a field fence around our property. I have started with installing the corner post and have decided to go with the square post instead of the round post. Now that they are in the ground, I am trying to figure out how to install the brace wire needed to support the tension on the field fence. I am stuck on how to attach the brace wire to square corner post. The reason we decided to go with square post was so that later on in the future we could add some 1”x6” boards horizontal in rows of four down the fence. We wanted to do a no climb horse fence first so that our dogs and horses would not be able to get out but now I am stuck on this brace wire. I have read of a way to install the brace wire on round post and it says to keep the brace wire off of the post so that it doesn’t cut into it. This is easily done on round post with some staples but what about square post? Is there a way to keep the brace wire from cutting into the post? Any help is greatly appreciated.
