Hello permies community,
I live in Maine on my off the grid permaculture homestead. No animals yet, mostly cause I still like to travel for adventure and work. I have mostly focused on basic infrastructure and perennial food forest.
I am interested in meeting a female that is genuinely interested in getting to know me and my ways. I honor honesty and open communication. I consider myself a unique creature that enjoys alone time but also relating to others from all walks of life. I enjoy finding common ground with most that I meet and interact with.
I have done this living creating on my own for a while now. I am interested in meeting someone special who thinks I’m special as well. Then growing and getting to know each other organically.

Hello, I have this old wood and cast iron antique farm tool. I would like to refurbish it and put it back to use. I’m just not sure what it is or how to use it. I bought it thinking it might be a winnower or grain cleaner??
Description: cast iron legs and half cylinder.
Inside horizontal cyclinder Is a metal auger that once had rubber attached to push “ grains” toward shoot in bottom of cylinder.
On top of this is a few hinged wood boxes
That all open. The top on has another mixer like contraption. This is the part I thought might be the fanning mill??
Both auger and fan are operated by one chand crank. And I just noticed There is a way to disengage the top mixer and only use the bottom auger. So this makes me think its a multi purpose tool. Please help. Thank you. Ask questions. Its driving me crazy not knowing what it is.
