Similar to GardenTrack but with accurate mapping. I want to add names to a map with an accurate location and smaller placeholders. This is to map the densely-planted, community garden I manage. Ideally a photo of each plant can be added. Placeholders should be small when I zoom in, with a label that appears when I hover over each placeholder - botanical or common name. If I click into a placeholder it shows a photo, the full names and any additional information such as links to the Plants for a Future database.
I can add a QR code to a label in the garden and it will take me to this map.
The data in this map is available to other plant hunters (some of our plants are quite unusual and interesting).
The images can be used by other plant identification sites.
HI there,
I've been running a forest garden project in Finsbury Park for 11 years -it's a community garden with a couple of hundred types of plant and a plant give away area. It's called Edible Landscapes London.  I'm looking to apply what I've learned to a land based project in the UK. Also interested in making sure the project I'm leaving thrives after I leave.
I did a little offer page here - https://www.permaculture.org.uk/opportunity/experienced-forest-gardener-and-trainer-wants-join-land-based-project
At the moment I'm particularly interested in finding a simple way to map the plants in the garden. The apps I've found so far seem to be geographically inaccurate. Not sure which is the best of the many fora to post that question in...
cheers,
Jo
