You got lead roofing nails up top? Often the heads on em are lead on the older roofs I've seen here down under. Sorry about the disease mate, guy I live with's got lead poisoning so he's super adamant about not drinking the stuff we got from the roof. Pretty sure some filters remove lead at the least, could you check if yours does with the manufacturer
