I am having a goat problem of my own and I'm not sure what else to do. I just recently got a new billy goat on 3/5 and he settled in well with my 2 nannies and 3 babies. Well on day while I was at work my husband got mad the goats were climbing all over his truck so he put them into the field (barbed wire only used for my other animals) instead of putting them in the back yard with goat fence my nannies know to stay home and don't travel far but this new billy disappeared he was only with us for 4 days and it has been 24 hours since hes been gone. I have made fliers and called the police departments and notified all the neighbors around but still no luck it's a pretty large area he could be in without being seen mixed with lots of cattle ranches so thick woods and fields. I am putting together a search party Saturday to walk in all directions of my property but I would have thought he would come back to the girls cuz there are not other goat farms very close so I'm not sure what to think. I know he wasn't stolen off my property I have 4 large dogs that would not have let that happen.
