Ah after doing some further reading I can understand your reticence. Seems there are some narrow carve outs for agriculture but the hefty fines DEQ seems eager to levy are pretty discouraging for the average landowner unfamiliar with this bureaucratic maze. We’re zoned agricultural and have a 1 acre pond excavated in a wetland by the previous landowner (with appropriate permits), I plan to do some more reading and inquiries to see what might be allowable on small scale without triggering permit requirement.
